Culture and tradition has been the core of most of the tourism developments during several decades. In a country like India, rich cultural heritage has always been the single dominant factor to attract tourists. Even today, India is still developing many other tourist attractions like world class resorts in Goa, introducing Cheetah's in its Wildlife list, great road infrastructure so that it becomes easy for tourists to reach world's highest motorable road in Ladakh i.e. "Umling la Pass", cultural tourism has retained its dominant position that it has enjoyed since India started promoting and marketing tourism.
